Materials

Aluminium, timber or PVC? We sell all three, so we can tell you honestly.

Most suppliers sell one material and say it suits everything. Each one has a job it does best, and in London the building, the planning officer and the budget usually decide between them.

Aluminium

Slimmest frames, biggest glass

Strong enough for heavy panels and narrow sightlines. Any RAL colour, very low maintenance, fully recyclable. Usually the answer for large sliders, facades and steel-look windows.

Timber

The right look for period houses

Sliding sashes and flush casements that conservation officers expect. Warm to the touch, renewable when FSC-certified, and repairable for decades with a recoat every few years.

PVC

Best value per opening

Good thermal performance for the money and almost no upkeep. A sensible choice for rentals, side elevations and windows that don’t need slim frames, outside conservation areas.

Also

Timber-aluminium

Timber inside, an aluminium shell outside. The warmth of wood in the room with weather-proof, low-maintenance faces outside, at a higher price.

Why us

The problems we set out to remove.

Ask architects and contractors what goes wrong with glazing packages and you hear the same complaints. We built the company around fixing them.

“The data was ‘on request’”

Published, not promised

U-values, size limits, security and weather classes are on each product page, with the certified figure for your sizes at Stage 4.

“They swapped the system”

No silent substitutions

What you specify is what we install. Any change comes to you in writing with its effect on performance first. That's change control you can put in the golden thread.

“Nobody owned the detail”

One team, drawing to handover

Our project manager owns the interface details, the survey, the delivery plan and the installation. We don't subcontract the fitting.

“The lead time moved”

A programme you can build to

Lead times run from signed drawings and are agreed in writing. If our programme slips, you hear it from us first, with a new date.

“I had to phone for every update”

A live project portal

Every project has its own page: the current stage, who has the ball, the promised date, documents, approvals and one message thread. How it works.

Founding projects

We're new. Here's how we make that safe for you.

We don't have a portfolio yet, so we won't show you stock photos and call them projects. We'll show you things you can check instead.

  • Certified system data and test references before you order.
  • A full-size corner sample in your chosen finish, in your studio.
  • Written change control and our own installation team.
  • Payments staged against delivery, with a guarantee from a UK company.
